Our History: Over 25 years of commitment to Fenua
The roots of engagement
The origin of a vocation: The adventure begins long before the association's official establishment. In 1996, Sylvia, our president, invested body and soul for the animal cause in Polynesia through Fenua Animalia. Led by this experience and a particular passion for Doberman, the association Dobhelp Tahiti officially came into being in 2010.

The Refuge
A haven of peace far from the wandering and the dangers of the street, we built in Papara a real welcome structure. This refuge is not just a simple roof: it is a place of convalescence where every dog has a secure space.
Thanks to the support of private donors and rigorous management, we have been able to transform a family land into an exemplary refuge, able to meet the physiological and psychological needs of the collected dogs.
